Ashure, Muharrem is a dessert made on the tenth day of the month. Traditionally, it is made from at least 7 ingredients, and according to the food that grows in the region, the mixture of the ingredients varies. In general, water, wheat, chickpeas, sugar, beans, rice is made using. Nuts, almonds, pomegranates, sesame seeds and dried fruits such as cinnamon, fruit and spices are added. In the Armenians, “anuş-abur” is called “koliva” in the Greeks.
