Urla Grape Harvest Festival UNESCO ICH / Workshop

The decision of the ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage Provincial Detection Commission’ which was established in order to carry out the UNESCO SOKÜM determination works of İzmir, was decided at the meeting dated 23.12.2015 and it was decided to register the Urla Traditional Grape Harvest Festival to the Ministry to be registered in the National Inventory List. At the same meeting, a workshop was held in Urla and an informative meeting on SOKUM studies was planned. 05 May 2016 at 14.00 in Urla Municipality Meeting Room; Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Izmir Provincial Commission Members, Urla Municipality officials, Urla District Township Offices, local producers, representatives of non-governmental organizations and interested parties are attendedn to the meeting. In the meeting where Cultural Research Foundation representatives are attended as a member of the Commission, was informed about the intangible cultural heritage and exchanged views on the traditional grape harvest implementions in Urla.
