Culinary Research / Black Sea – Artvin
Artvin is located on the steep slopes of the Black Sea, reaches the Black Sea coasts and to the borders of Georgia. In addition to the variety of fish in the region, dairy products, beebreeding, forestry and hunting activities, especially in the higher parts, offer nutrition alternatives. Field research in the districts of Ardanuç, Borçka, Murgul and Şavşat has documented the local nutrition traditions and kitchen utensils of the region.
